Offshore wind farms draw Interior Sec to AC

Windmills off the New Jersey coastline could be used to generate electricity. U.S. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar will host a public hearing on offshore wind power along the East Coast in Atlantic City Monday. Salazar says the project can play a key role in the nation's energy future

Atlantic City is considering several plans to construct wind farms. Gov. Jon S. Corzine has a plan to make New Jersey the nation's leader in wind energy within a few years.
