Bicyclist hurt crashing into police car

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - April 6, 2009 Forty-eight-year-old Michael Bisher was traveling down a hill on Hamilton Street around 7:20 a.m. Saturday when his bike crashed into the side of a police car at the intersection with Fourth Street.

Police say Bisher went flying into the street.

The police car was driven by patrol officer Scot Walz. He was not injured.

Bisher was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where he underwent surgery.
