Representatives of Philadelphia's two casino license holders plan to update the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on the status of their projects.

A busload of anti-casino residents is heading to Harrisburg for Wednesday's informational meeting.

Gaming Control Board spokesman Richard McGarvey says a lot of questions have been raised about the SugarHouse and Foxwoods proposals, and people are curious. He says anyone who wants more information on the projects may attend the meeting.

Gaming board chairwoman Mary DiGiacomo Colins said in a written statement three weeks ago the panel wants to know what the obstacles are and how the licensees plan to overcome them.

Both projects have missed deadlines to be operational by now.
