Racially obscene graffiti sprayed in school

NORTH WILMINGTON, Del. - April 9, 2009 The incident happened at the Lancashire Elementary School, located at 2000 Naamans Road, sometime between 3:30 p.m. yesterday and 6:00 this morning.

Construction workers were the first to observe the graffiti this morning. The obscene words, which were racially offensive in nature, were spray painted on the interior walls of the elementary school. The school is presently under construction and is expected to open later this year.

Investigators say the doer(s) entered onto the property through an unsecured fence. In addition to the graffiti, the suspect(s) caused additional damage to construction equipment.
