Body found on A.C. beach identified

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - April 9, 2009 - The discovery was made at around 8:30 a.m. by city workers.

Police identified the man as Antwone Lee Robbins, 25, from Virginia.

After an autopsy Thursday, authorities say Robbins died from a gunshot wound to the head and drowning.

The matter is under investigation by the Atlantic City Police Department and the Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit.

Law Enforcement officers are seeking information from anyone who was in the area of New York Avenue in Atlantic City early Thursday morning.
