Police say the Delaware Child Predator Task Force began an undercover online investigation into the distribution of child pornography via the internet.
Investigators say Owen was identified as a suspect, and a search warrant was issued for his home.
Owen was then arrested, and police seized computers and other hardware as evidence.
Owen was formally charged with 29 counts of Using a Computer to Unlawfully Depict a Child Engaging in a Prohibited Sexual Act (Felony).
Following an arraignment, Owen was taken to Howard Young Correctional Center in lieu of $270,000.00 secure bond pending his appearance in court.
