Police: Shots fired at Easter party

NEWARK, Del. - April 10, 2009 - Troopers responded to a report of a shooting around 12:30 a.m. Friday at the Separation Methods Technologies building, which had been rented out for the party.

Organizers advertised the party at local high schools and police say about 100 to 200 people showed up. When a fight broke out, organizers ordered everyone out.

But as one organizer secured the front door, police say someone shot several rounds into the sky, then fired at the front door. Police say it shattered and hit a person in the eye.
