New Jersey State Police and rescue crews from Mount Laurel responded to an accident on the New Jersey Turnpike Saturday morning. The single vehicle accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. near the State Police turnpike barrack.

Authorities tell Action News that the vehicle rolled over and briefly trapped an adult driver and a teenager in the front seats.

Two small children were able to escape from the overturned vehicle and have minor injuries.

There is no word yet on the extent of injuries the adult and teenager sustained or if the rain played a role in the accident.
