Officer honored 63 years after death

A Montgomery County police officer has been honored - 63 years after he died. Action News was there for the unveiling of a plaque honoring Cheltenham police officer Edgar Peterson. He died in a crash in 1946.

The 19-year veteran of the force was responding to a call at the time. He was just 56-years-old.

His family laid flowers on the plaque during this morning's ceremony honoring the memory of Officer Edgar Peterson.
