Police seek suspect in Del. burglaries

WILMINGTON, Del. - April 13, 2009 - In the first incident, the BP Shore Stop at 4001 Lancaster Pike was hit around 1:26 a.m. Police say the man smashed out the front glass door to gain entry.

Once inside, investigators say the man looked for cash, but could not find any. He left the scene empty-handed.

About an hour later, police say the same suspect forced his way into the Exxon located at 800 Foulk Road. The suspect located an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.

The man is described as a black male wearing a knit hat and a black coat.
