Restraining order approved in 'DWTS' case

LOS ANGELES (AP) - April 14, 2009

Robert O'Ryan has been in custody since last month, when police say the 34-year-old jumped a fence at the Los Angeles studio lot of the popular dancing competition. Court records state a search of O'Ryan's car turned up loaded guns, duct tape and love letters to Johnson, a 17-year-old Olympic gold medalist.

The order approved Tuesday morning is meant to prevent O'Ryan from contacting Johnson or her family for three years.

O'Ryan remains jailed on $220,000 bail and was not represented in court. Johnson's parents appeared but were not required to testify.
