Police say the teen held a lighter to the girl's clothing, trying to set her on fire. When she ran away, authorities say the teen threw burning items out of a window, lighting the outside of the house on fire.
The teen is charged with first-degree attempted arson, third-degree felony arson, nine counts of second-degree reckless endangering, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal trespassing.
