GEORGETOWN, Del. - April 17, 2009 - Timothy McDorman of Lincoln faces rape and child pornography
charges after police say a 16-year-old girl's mother found a text
message from McDorman to her daughter's cell phone that indicated
that the two were having sex.
Police say the girl had been sending McDorman naked pictures of
herself since October when the two began a relationship.
McDorman was the pastor of Eastern Shore Community Church near
Georgetown. This week church officials said McDorman has been
suspended from ministerial activities and pastoral responsibilities
pending the outcome of the criminal case.
