The attack, by the woman's 22-year-old boyfriend, happened overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
Police tell Action News that the man was hiding in the bushes outside the woman's home. When she came home, he came out, severely beat her and drove over her in her driveway.
She's now hospitalized in serious condition.
Investigators say the man set fire to her home last year.
