Patrick Michael Clugston faces charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Indecent Assault, and Corruption of Minors.
In March, a former student told school administrators about the relationship with Clugston. The school told the district attorney that he called his conduct a "colossal mistake" and resigned from his position at Gwynedd Mercy High School.
The former student claimed that Clugston initiated the sexually inappropriate relationship while she was a 9th grader in November 2002. The district attorney's investigators claim that Clugston would have liaisons with the student on a regular basis on school grounds and the relationship continued until the end of the school year in June 2003.
Clugston faces an arraignment Monday.
