Bacci gets 6-23 months in Geno's beating

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA - April 23, 2009 20-year-old Kevin Bacci of Devon received 6-23 months of a work release jail term for the brutal attack at Geno's steak shop. In addition Bacci faces 4 years probation, full restitution in the amount of $1,000, and a court order to stay away from the victim.

The vicious beating was caught on surveillance video back on December 27, 2007. The victim, Tony Chestnut, testified that Bacci picked him up and slammed him down, causing several injuries.

Bacci was initially charged with attempted murder, but was later found guilty of aggravated assault and other related offenses.
