CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - April 23, 2009
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says Jorge Rivera stopped
breathing after putting the bag into his mouth and struggling with
the officers.
The 32-year-old Pemberton resident was taken to Cooper
University Hospital, but died shortly after. Authorities believe he
choked on the bag.
The officers involved in the arrest will be placed on
administrative leave as the state Attorney General's Office
investigates.
