NEW YORK - April 24, 2009 - The police department bomb squad is on the scene, but officials
say there is no indication that an explosive device is at the
school. Police believe the teacher is by himself.
Hundreds of students in the Bronx building have been evacuated
and are going to other schools for the rest of the day.
The building houses three schools. The teacher is barricaded
inside the New Millennium Business Academy Middle School. It's not
clear if he is inside his own classroom.
There are no injuries.
