Ousted NJ union leader to be a radio host

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - April 30, 2009 Katz will join New Jersey 101.5 (WKXW-FM) starting May 4 as a regular host on various programs at the Trenton-based radio station. She debuts during the 6 p.m. hour for the "The Jersey Guys" radio program.

Katz says she has a "lot of stories" and sees the show as an "opportunity to make lemonade out of lemons."

Corzine dated Katz for two years before he became governor. Both successfully fought to keep e-mails they exchanged two years ago during state worker contract talks private.

Katz was suspended in July as president of her union local over allegations she misspent union funds. She is appealing the suspension.
