Delaware State Police say a former rehabilitation counselor has been charged with fondling a 14-year-old client being held in a juvenile institution. Forty-eight-year-old Montevilla Anderson of Wilmington was arrested Thursday and charged with felony unlawful sexual contact in connection with the March 17 incident at the Ferris School.

State police say the boy was sleeping when Anderson walked into his room around 4:30 a.m. and grabbed his genitals.

The state Division of Youth Rehabilitative Services says Anderson is no longer employed by the department.

Police say Anderson was also wanted on five other active warrants for failing to appear in court or pay fines for traffic offenses. He was released on $2,500 bail.
