Costa Rica confirms first swine flu case

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica (AP) - May 2, 2009 Health Minister Maria Luisa Avila made the announcement after getting confirmation from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Avila gave no details other than to say the patient is not in danger.
