Costa Rica confirms first swine flu case

Costa Rica is reporting its first confirmed swine flu case - and the first flu case in Latin America outside Mexico. Health Minister Maria Luisa Avila made the announcement after getting confirmation from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Avila gave no details other than to say the patient is not in danger.
