1 dead in triple shooting in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. - May 2, 2009 At approximately 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Wilmington Police were called to the 1000 block of East 28th Street for a report of shots fired.

When the officers arrived, they found 3 males, all suffering form gunshot wounds.

The victims were immediately taken to Christiana Hospital.

One victim was pronounced dead.

A second victim is listed in critical, but stable condition.

A third victim was treated and released for a superficial wound to his right hand.

At this time, Wilmington Police Detectives are investigating the incident.
