Wilmington shooting victim ID'd

WILMINGTON, Del. - May 3, 2009 Because the shooting was near the Thunderguards Motorcycle Club located at 28th & Northeast, the city of Wilmington closed the club. Wilmington's Director of Public Safety, James Mosley closed the place Saturday afternoon and prohibited members from reopening until they were explicitly given permission.

At approximately 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Wilmington Police were called to the 1000 block of East 28th Street for a report of shots fired. When the officers arrived, they found 3 males, all suffering form gunshot wounds.

Spivey was dead at the scene. A second victim was listed in critical, but stable condition. A third victim was treated and released for a superficial wound to his right hand.

At this time, Wilmington Police Detectives are investigating the incident.
