NEW YORK (AP) - May 5, 2009

At least to the West Side of Manhattan.

The nation's largest Fourth of July fireworks will be held on the Hudson River this year.

It's to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's voyage to New York.

Macy's holiday fireworks display is usually held on the East River.

Macy's says six barges along Manhattan's West Side will fire 40,000 shells on the evening of the fourth.

The pyrotechnics will also be visible from the New Jersey side of the river.
