Officer injured in Kelly Drive crash

FAIRMOUNT PARK - May 6, 2009 The crash happened at about 6:40 near Brewery Hill Drive.

The 41-year-old police captain from the 17th District was taken to Hahnemann Hospital after sustaining minor leg injuries.

He was treated and released.

Investigators tell Action News that the captain lost control of the car on his way into work.

There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
