2 music fans sue Ticketmaster over pricing

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - May 6, 2009 In the suit filed Tuesday in federal court in Trenton, two women claim the company fraudulently raised prices by sending online customers to TicketsNow.com, its subsidiary reseller. It seeks unspecified damages

Similar complaints were raised in February when Ticketmaster directed people seeking Bruce Springsteen tickets to TicketsNow. The company and the state Attorney General's Office ultimately reached a deal in which Ticketmaster agreed to change its online sales process.

Neither Ticketmaster nor the plaintiffs' attorney, John Keefe Jr. of Red Bank, immediately responded to messages left Wednesday afternoon.
