SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - May 7, 2009 According to spokeswoman Laura Copeland from the Water Department, all water was restored by noon and all repairs have been complete, however the street remains closed at this time.
About 40 homes were without water because of a watermain break overnight in Southwest Philadelphia.
A geyser of water gushed from the broken 6-inch water supply line located at a construction site at 61st and Elmwood Streets.
