Suspect sketch released

CHADDS FORD, Pa. - May 8, 2009

Chopper 6 flew over the home Wednesday night in the 100 block of Bellefair Lane in Chadds Ford.

Officers say, the 32-year-old homeowner spotted one of the suspects sitting in a car in the garage Wednesday evening.

When the suspect saw the homeowner, he ran from the garage to a late model black Mercedes-Benz in the driveway, where another man was waiting.

The home owner reached through the driver's side window and grabbed the driver as the car pulled away. The home owner was dragged for a few feet while the car ran over a bush and then sped off. Investigators think the car Probably suffered undercarriage damage, possible driver side damage, and broken lights on front of the car. The car was last spotted speeding toward Route 202.

Police tell Action News that the driver was a white man in his late teens or early 20s with dark curly hair. The other suspect is described as a white man in his late teens or early 20s with light brown curly hair. He was thin and stood about 5'10" tall with light skin.
