Shot fired during police scuffle

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - May 8, 2009 - It happened just after 2:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of North Colorado Street.

Investigators say the officer was in a struggle with a suspect, when that suspect tried to disarm the officer, causing the gun to go off.

There have been no reports of injuries.

The suspect was arrested at the scene.
