Teen girl, 2 males sought in carjacking

Police are looking for a teenage girl and two men who, they say, robbed and carjacked a man in Newark.Officers were called out shortly before 1:00 a.m. on April 26th to the unit block of Egret Court.

The victim, a 29-year-old man, told police he had just parked his car and was dropping off a friend when he was approached the by the female, thought to be about 16 or 17 years old.

He said the girl pointed a gun at his face, demanding his money and car. Two men then assaulted the victim and went through his pockets, taking his money and car keys.

One of the men drove off in the victim's car, as the girl and other man fled on foot. The car was later recovered.

The female suspect is described as a white or light skinned black female, with light brown hair, green eyes, 5'7", with a thin build.

The victim estimated her age between 16-17 years old.
