State police have charged two men in more than 100 car break-ins in Kent County since February. Police say 27-year-old Daniel Hoffman of Frederica and 23-year-old Matthew Hughes of Dover face 112 charges each, including 49 counts of burglary and 51 counts of theft.

Cpl. Andrea Boone says the incidents happened in Camden, Dover, Felton, Frederica, Harrington, Magnolia and Milford.

Court documents say the pair stole thousands of dollars in property, including global positioning systems, radar detectors, laptops, cameras, handcuffs, a Taser, a leaf blower and a skateboard.

Boone says police responding to a 911-call Thursday about a suspicious person in Frederica found Hoffman breaking into vehicles and he admitted to breaking into vehicles with Hughes.
