SILVERDALE BOROUGH, Pa. - May 14, 2009
The break happened at about 2:30 a.m. on the 100 block of Lawndale Avenue in Silverdale Borough.
The 6-inch main break affected dozens of residents, cutting water to 40 homes.
Hilltown Township Water and Sewer Authority are working on making repairs to the main and reestablishing water flow to area homes.
No word on what caused the water main break.
