PHILADELPHIA (AP) - May 15, 2009 Jordan met with team president Ed Stefanski on Friday. It was
Philadelphia's first interview with a candidate since Tony DiLeo
stepped down as coach on Monday and returned to his job as a vice
president and assistant general manager.
Stefanski and Jordan did not immediately return requests for
comment.
Jordan was fired by the Washington Wizards in November and
interviewed with the Sacramento Kings this week.
Philadelphia finished 41-41 this season and was 32-27 under
DiLeo, who replaced the fired Maurice Cheeks.
