WASHINGTON - May 15, 2009 - Prosecutor Nora Dannehy and her deputies left the downtown
Washington office of Rove's lawyer shortly after midday, about four
hours after they arrived.
Dannehy declined to comment when asked about the interview and
whether Rove answered her questions.
An internal Justice Department investigation during the Bush
administration recommended a criminal inquiry, saying the lack of
cooperation by Rove and other senior administration officials left
gaps in their findings that should be investigated further.
