Police are looking for individuals who shot bb's from an SUV, hitting at least two people. Not only do joggers in Gloucester Township have to worry about getting hit by a car, they also have to worry about getting shot by three guys wielding a bb gun.

"There were numerous shots fired at both of them the victim could hear the sound of the weapon firing," said Deputy Chief Harry Earle.

The first incident happened at about 9:21 p.m. Sunday at Veterans Park which is located next to the Gloucester Township police department.

"Individuals walking or jogging along one end of the park and a vehicle drove by and shot him with some sort of BB or pellet pistol."

Then at 10:03 p.m. about a mile and a half away a man walking near the Cherrywood Apartments reported that he too had been shot.

"And he was walking alongside of the road; a vehicle proceeded past him and again shot him several times with a BB gun or pellet type pistol."

Neither victim was seriously injured in both incidents police say the assailants appeared to be teenagers driving around in a small SUV-type vehicle.

"Both victims described seeing 3 white males, younger males, inside of the vehicle, in a small gray SUV-type vehicle."

The victims seem to think that the teens were driving either a Pontiac Vibe or a Hyundai CRV.
