He's accused of beating Louis Malachowsky to death in the victim's home in Abington and dumping the body on the 2200 block of East Butler Street in Frankford.
Investigators say the men were friends, and the relationship had recently soured.
Reese told investigators that he became angry at Malachowsky after receiving an e-mail from him.
Reese is now in the Montgomery County jail without bail.
