Rendell talks to Temple Law grads

Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell says new lawyers shouldn't focus their careers on trying to get rich through the practice of law. Rendell is a lawyer himself who served as Philadelphia's district attorney for two terms before becoming the city's mayor and later the state's governor. He gave the commencement address Thursday to graduates of Temple University Law School - one of whom is his son, Jesse Rendell.

The governor says in the course of his career, he's met many people who have become rich and famous but aren't happy. He says concentrating on public service and family may yield a less traditional type of success, but one that's ultimately more enriching.
