She gives a tour of the well-stocked shelves, quoting prices like "Pop-Tarts, 16 cents a box. Swiss Miss cocoa, 50 cents a box. The salad dressing was nine cents. The mustard was free. The Bisquick was about 25 cents a box."

Mindi has actually turned her hunting down bargains into a career, creating her own website called Moms Need to Know.com

On the site, she matches up coupons and store deals in the Philadelphia area and blogs about making the most of every shopping trip.

She says that when she started couponing, she noticed that no sites catered specifically to the Philadelphia by matching coupons to local supermarkets.

She also says she never spends more than $50 a week at the supermarket to feed her family of four. And she says she hasn't paid for toothpaste or shampoo in about three years.

Among her tips, don't use coupons the week they appear. Save them and use them when items are on sale to maximize savings. And take advantage of cash back offers.

She explains how she'll use a coupon to buy an item that's on sale at CVS, then get CVS bucks back. Then she'll use those to buy another item the next week, doing the same thing.
