1 dead, 1 injured in Franklinville crash

FRANKLINVILLE, N.J. - May 24, 2009 It happened on Marshall Mill Road near Central Avenue in Franklinville late Saturday night.

A 2003 Ford Ranger pickup was found on its side after crashing into a utility pole.

Apparently the driver, identified as 28-year-old Brian Fertig, was killed instantly.

His passenger, 27-year-old Eric Klepac, was seriously injured and rushed to Cooper University Hospital. He is in critical but stable condition.

There's no word on what caused the accident.
