Falcon removed from Walt Whitman Bridge

Tonight around 8:15 p.m. the DRPA police shut down the far right eastbound lane of the Walt Whitman Bridge heading into New Jersey. The DRPA tells Action News that a young falcon was on the bridge in the lane of traffic. It appears to be injured.

The PA Game Commission and the City of Camden Animal control were called out to the scene. The bird has been taken to Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife at 4 Sawmill Rd, Medford.
