NJ girl gunned down in block party shooting

Police say block party for a city council candidate in New Jersey ended with a 13-year-old shot dead. The shooting took place in Trenton on the corner of Rossell Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Sunday night. Residents had gathered for a campaign block party hosted by the national youth minister for the New Black Panther Party who is running for city council.

Police say a vehicle drove by and sprayed the area with bullets. The girl, whose name has not been released, was shot in the back.

Police say they don't have any suspects.
