3 dead in 3 separate Philadelphia shootings

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - June 9, 2009

At about 3:30 on Tuesday morning, someone shot a 20-year-old man several times. He was gunned down along the 2600 block of Marshall Street in North Philadelphia.

About two hours earlier a shootout near the corner of 56th Street and Woodland Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia left two people wounded.

One of them -- a 17-year-old boy -- died from his wounds. He had been shot repeatedly.

The second person is being treated at Mercy Hospital for a shoulder wound.

At 10:30 Monday night someone shot a man in the head near the corner of 20th and Reed in South Philadelphia.

The victim died at the hospital.

Police have not indicated if they have motives or suspects in any of the cases.
