Two men were found shot inside a New Castle County storage unit overnight. At approximately 1:23 a.m. police were called out to a storage unit in the Newport Business Park, located in the 300 block of Falco Drive in Newport, Delaware.

A person driving through the facility noticed a vehicle parked outside the unit in question. Because of the time of day it drew suspicion, so the individual drove up to the unit and took a look inside.

In the unit were two men lying on the ground. The witness then called 9-1-1.

When officers arrived on the scene they determined one of the men had already died - the other was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The wounded man was transported to Christiana Hospital where he was last listed in critical condition.

Police have identified the deceased victim as 24-year-old Jose Luis Ramos of New Castle, Delaware. Ramos' body has been turned over to the Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy.

Police would only describe the wounded subject as a male in his 20's.

A motive has not been determined.
