Officer robbed outside gentleman's club

WYNNEFIELD HEIGHTS - June 10, 2009 The robbery took place just past 2:00 a.m. at the Sables Gentleman's Club on the 3900 block of Ford Road in the Wynnefield Heights section of Philadelphia.

The thief confronted the officer in the parking lot area outside the club.

Taken were the officer's watch worth $17,000 and $1,000 in cash.

The suspect fled the scene in a silver Nissan Altima.

Police are investigating if the officer fired shots at the suspect as he fled.
