Swine flu arrives at Lawrence Twp. schools

June 10, 2009 9:58:03 AM PDT
Swine flu has arrived in Lawrence Township New Jersey's public schools. The school district announced 3 confirmed cases among students, but it didn't specify which school is involved.

Parents, we're told, have been emailed.

Meantime, Hunter Elementary School in Philadelphia will be holding informational meetings tonight at 5:30 and at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday morning.

Tests show 2 students at Hunter did have the H1N1 virus. 150 of 500 kids at the school were absent yesterday with flu-like symptoms.
