Scouts rescued from creek

A group of boy scouts ran into big trouble along the Brandywine Creek in Delaware County. The Action Cam was there, as crews put one of the scouts into a rescue boat.

A group of about 30 scouts had been canoeing the creek in Chadd's Ford, and got stuck on some underwater trees and brush.

Two scouts suffered injuries, and were taken to the hospital for treatment. The rest were just wet, and covered in mud.

Firefighters say last week's rainstorms had the creek running higher than normal.

That's the same section of Brandywine Creek where a pair of brothers were killed earlier in the week.

The body of Rev. Chad Miller was just recovered during the weekend.
