The Action Cam was on hand Wednesday morning as diplomas were handed out to students from Carver High School of Engineering and Science. The seniors walked the stage at Temple's McGonigle Hall.
Instead of caps and gowns, graduates of Philadelphia High School for Girls wore beautiful white dresses, and they carried red flowers. This commencement ceremony was held at Temple's Liacouras Center, leaving plenty of room for parents and friends to pack the stands.
In Northeast Philadelphia, hundreds of students from Washington High School graduated Wednesday morning in a sea of blue and white. Their ceremony was held at the school's Washington Field, along Bustleton Avenue. It's not officially all over yet, though, for the students. They don't get their final report cards until next week.
Some 300 seniors at Frankford High School have also taken that all-important walk, to get their diplomas. The ceremony was held at Frankford's Memorial Stadium.
It was - of course - a morning when a proud moment was shared by students and their families.
