Spelling bee for seniors

June 18, 2009 5:36:11 AM PDT
Spelling bees aren't just for kids.

Seniors will be demonstrating their spelling prowess this weekend in Cheyenne, Wyo.

More than 50 people age 50 and above will be competing in the AARP National Spelling Bee.

The contest starts with a 100-word written spelling test.

Then come the oral rounds.

By the way, last year's winning word was debouch -- that's d-e-b-o-u-c-h.
