Crew members of the Lady Mary, which sank in March, were remembered Friday night at a memorial service as part of a harbor festival. Only one person survived the sinking.
Clergy said prayers, a U.S. Coast Guard band played, and a wreath was laid. For some relatives, it was akin to a funeral service for loved ones whose bodies still have not been recovered.
The Coast Guard is still investigating the cause of the accident. Divers hired by the boat owner say damage to the sunken vessel could indicate a collision with another ship.
