PENNSAUKEN, N.J. - June 21, 2009
Police and medics were called out to the 300 block of North 42nd Street in Pennsauken around 3:30 a.m. where they found a woman who had been shot outside of a residence.
The 47-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the foot. Her injuries are said to be nonlife threatening.
Lester barricaded himself inside of the woman's home refused to come out.
Police and swat teams were called in. They were on the scene until Lester was taken into custody around 5:00 p.m.
